Rainout Cancellations procedure Please cancel no later than 4pm on game dayHowever, if you are playing at North Clackamas Park, NCP determines whether the fields are playable, call 503-742-4343 updated at 4PM daily.

ASA Amateur Softball Association Site (Registration Site) - Register your coaches and players

ASA Injury Medical/Dental Claim Form - any player or coach who get injured fills out form and gives to Lance, who forwards it to Oregon ASA.

NCJSA Check Request Form - check requests from your team account.

Coaching Requirements/Tasks

1. Call league president and let him/her know you want to coach

2. Login and complete Bonzi online coaching application during registration (open Jan-April)

3. Safe Sports

4. Complete ASA Coaches Code of Conduct Form (print & turn in to President with ASA roster)

5. Register as a coach with ASA and complete ACE online certification (not required for T-ball)

6. Take a concussion test through ASA

7. Familiarize yourself with ASA and CCGSA rules for age group

8. 1st & 2nd year coaches attend the CCGSA training clinic

9. Organize a player/parent team meeting

10. Gather coaches and assistant coaches copies of Driver's License (for background check)

11. Register players through ASA - collect birth certificate for NEW players (not required for T-ball)

12. Collect Medical release form for each player - Coach keeps on file!

13. Schedule equipment pickup w/equipment chair

14. Create a first-aid kit, bring to practices and games

15. Complete uniform request & distribute uniforms to players

16. Distribute team picture and family fun day information

17. Attend Family Fun Day with your team

18. Fundraise as needed (for uniforms, tournaments, etc)

19. Practice 1-2 times per week, develop a practice plan

20. Distribute copies of practice and schedules to parents

21. Report game results to CCGSA (not required for T-ball)

22. Gather opposing team coaches phone numbers in case of rainouts (from CCGSA schedule)

23. Prep field for games with "Play ball" turface, return equipment materials when borrowed

24. Attend monthly NCJSA Board/Coaches Meetings

25. (optional) register for tournaments
